Remove Recycle Bin

Go to START > RUN
Type GPEDIT.MSC
Navagate to USER CONFIGURATION >ADMINISTRATIVE TEMPLATES >Click on DESKTOP,
On the right hand pane find " Remove Recycle Bin icon on the desktop " , double left click on it to ENABLE it.
Sorted!
If using XP Home
Either use TweakUI or make the change manually in the registry.
Create or modify the following registry entry
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\HideDesktopIcons\NewStartPanel
{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}
 REG_DWORD
0x00000001

Rename the Recycle Bin

 Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}\ShellFolder]
"Attributes"=hex:50,01,00,20
"CallForAttributes"=dword:00000000

Now save this text file as a .reg file, such as "Rename Recycle Bin.reg" and save it (at desktop, because easy to find out or wherever you like.). Double click on the file, and when it asks you if you want to import it into the registry, choose Yes. You'll notice a new option in the right-click menu to Rename the Recycle Bin. You can also rename it by highlighing the Bin and hitting F2, or by highlighting it and clicking on the file name (just like renaming any other file.

If you want to turn off this new feature, make another .reg file with the same content as above, but change the first number in the "Attributes"=hex: line from 50 to 40 and import that file into the registry.

Delete Recycle Bin

  Simply Delete key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}" and restart. When you restart, the Recycle Bin is no longer on the desktop. When you delete stuff, it still prompts to send it to the Recycle Bin, as always.

To fully delete something, just delete it from C:\Recycled. or C:\Recycler (name depends on file system).

To view this folder, you have to have everything set to be seen, including hidden folders and procted OS files and all that. Enjoy this handy tweak! :)

Editor's notes: Backup the key before you delete it, in case you change your mind.
Alternatively instead of deleting the key mentioned above you can change the value for {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} to 1 at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\HideDesktopIcons\NewStartPanel .

Google.com automatically takes to Google.co.in??

 Does Google.com automatically takes  to  Google.co.in??
If you find yourself on a country-specific Google homepage, such as http://www.google.co.in, you can always easily get back to Google.com by clicking the link below the search box.

Changing your settings

If you'd rather use a different Google site, like Google.com, no matter where you are, try one of the following tips:
  • Click the Google.com link on any other domain.
  • Choose a Google domain manually by visiting the Language Tools page (the section with the flags).
  • Bookmark http://www.google.com/ncr. This is an alternative web address for Google.com that always takes you to Google.com without redirecting you.

Make sure your browser's cookies are enabled
Your Google settings are saved in a cookie, so if cookies aren't enabled the preferences you pick won't be saved. Learn how to turn on cookies in common browsers.

Reporting incorrect IP detection

Are we sending you to the wrong Google domain? For example, you’re located in Australia (www.google.com.au) but you’re being sent to the Google domain for the INDIA
(www.google.co.in). If so, we may be detecting your IP address incorrectly.

If you’re continuously seeing the wrong domain, just let us know about the issue and we'll update your IP address in about a month. In the meantime, review the section above to choose the Google site you want.
