Icon (*.ico) Display ISSUE

Icon File(*.ico)  Previewed 

 If your *.ico  i.e. icon files can't previewed correctly
 
Right click on any file with ico extension,
Point to "Open with.." > Click "Choose Program..",
Select "Select the program from a list" > Click OK
Choose "Windows Picture and fax Viewer" and tick the check-box "Always use this.."
Click OK

Right click .ico file properties , at General Tab Click on change tab.
In  Open  With window list of programs will be displayed. Choose "Windows Picture and fax Viewer" and tick the check-box "Always use this.."
Click OK.

Save this file(xp_ico_file_assoc_fix.reg) on your desktop. Close all other programs run this file and restart your computer
